There are numerous debates today regarding which diet is best. How many people obsess over their diets, and then beat themselves up for failing? Are their diets matching their goals and nutrient compatibility? More importantly: are their diets setting them up long-term success?
Ariel names her nutrition consultation as “Dialogues”, because she wants YOU to arrive at your own conclusions about your eating habits. These Dialogues are not for the sake of finding the best diet for you: the focus is to allow a sincere space where clients arrive at their own realizations as they sort their reasons for imbalanced eating. She believes that, once the root cause is found, clients will be able to make the permanent changes they desire.
As opposed to following a typical medical model where the health professional makes a diagnosis, clients will learn to locate the issue themselves and increase their awareness of thoughts, choices, and feelings surrounding food/eating: this is where clients take cognizance of when, where, and how their love for food turned into a fear of foods. As clients become more and more aware of their motivations, they will then be able to attain their eating goals and remain steady in them long term.
The Dialogues are not to teach clients how to eat “properly”; rather they reveal the “why” behind food choices so that clients can make desired changes that stick. Clients observe reasons versus plugging in foods to fit a short-term diet so they can generate the desired long-term results. Dialogues are pivotal and devoted to creating not only an eating-lifestyle that works, but will also remain post-session(s). Clients are transitioned from making detrimental judgements of food choices to creating harmonious perspectives on enjoying food’s blessed nourishment.
To begin this program, you will be asked to complete a food log before your first session. As we move through your Dialogues, your food logs will help you see visually the connection between your food and your life. Connect with Ariel today to make peace with food.
It is important to remember that food is here to nurture you! It was put on this earth to support you on your life’s purpose: don’t alienate yourself from this super-natural blessing.
